I feed the birds, mostly of the sparrow family, but I get Quail, Blue-jay, Junco. I buy cheap feed for these, the kind that looks like pot seeds. To get the Wrens and Cardinals I have to buy much better feed, this stuff has peanuts, raisins, niger, millet & sunflower.
It's rare for me to see a Cardinal. To get a photo I have to take it from in the house through the window.
